Facility Security Plans

Facility Security Plans are developed by Facility Security Officers and approved by the Coast guard.

These security plans require procedures for:

• Access Control
• Restricted areas
• Handling cargo
• Delivering vessel stores and bunkers
• Facility monitoring
• Incident Response

Restricted Areas

Restricted Areas require a higher degree of security protection. Only certain individuals may have access to restricted areas.

There will be enhanced security features for accessing restricted areas.

These include:

• Additional credentials
• Biometric identification
• Special clearances

Restricted areas will be clearly marked. If you do not have business in a restricted area, stay clear.
